We would like to welcome Tony to BACIL as our new Coordinator. Tony has over 30 years previous experience within the Police working in many different areas and is a great addition to the team. We are looking forward to some great ideas being brought to the table. Tony will be responsible for managing our outerareas and night time economy members. Look out for him in the next few weeks working closley with Rachael and Sean and getting to grips with the crime partnership.

Leeds’ Crime Prevention network, BACIL (Business Against Crime in Leeds), has announced the winners of its 2016 awards presented to businesses who have helped keep the city safe and taken a proactive stance towards tackling crime. We have chosen the winner of the BACIL 'Watch Your Stuff' poster competition, whose artwork is now going up in venues throughout the city. The posters will alert people to watch their belongings and be aware of theft - a message that is particularly important at this busy time of year, when more people visit the city-centre than at any other time. BACIL Awards Evening 2015 BACIL held the first annual BACIL awards evening this month. The BACIL members do a fantastic job on a daily basis to keep the city a safe place to live, work and play and this was a great way to celebrate their sucess.
